Corrections Policy
South Shore Home Guide strives for accuracy in every directory listing and every article we publish. We rely on publicly available data, and that data can change. If you believe information about your business or any other content on this site is incorrect, we will review it and correct verified inaccuracies promptly.
How to request a correction
Use the form below. Please include:
- The page URL where the information appears
- The specific information you believe is incorrect
- The correct information
- A publicly verifiable source for the correction (a link to a government license lookup, a business profile, a news source, etc.)
Response time
We review and respond to correction requests within 5 business days. Verified inaccuracies are corrected in the same response cycle.
What counts as a correction
We correct factual errors that can be verified by a public source. This includes contractor name spelling, license status, years in business, service categories, or geographic service area. We also correct review data that was captured incorrectly or has changed materially since our last data review.
What we do not alter
We do not remove accurate public review data at the request of the business being reviewed. We do not edit public review ratings from Google, Yelp, or other third-party platforms; those remain as published by those sources.
Removal from the directory
If you are a contractor who no longer wishes to appear in our directory, use the form below and note “Please remove this listing” in the description. We’ll remove it within 5 business days.
